Baking is perhaps one of the oldest ways of preparing food and this has helped people to earn a lot over the years. The carbon monoxide which is released with the use of baking powder helps the dough to rise thus giving the special effect of baked food.

  • Specially milled flour is another big development. This is made from different grains and prepared with various additives. 


  • Another big development was when fruit flavors were introduced in baking. This gave a whole new dimension to the cake and pastry department with the help of which we get to eat so many different flavors of cakes today. From chocolate to butterscotch, the flavors have always given the taste buds something to cheer about.
With the developments in the bakery ingredients, the bakery industry has not only produced several new baked foods but it has also given the people a handful of options to choose from.
